Well it really depends on the commitment of the senior team, but generally it is good to go through two complete cycles of about 3 months each. This means you need to think of having some expert support for a period of about 6 months. In some cases, if there is no strong internal champion, it can take longer, and in other cases, if the CEO is strongly behind it and everyone really wants it to happen, it can be done faster.
Implementation needs commitment from all the senior leaders. If you don't "walk the talk", you can be sure your team will do as you do, not as you say! Its a good idea to have one senior team member "own" the process, to learn the most about dos and don'ts and be the conscience of the organisation if usage slips.
Goal Setting is valuable for every company because every company has goals, whether stated explicitly or not. But its a challenging task to consistently set goals and measure progress. So your and your organisation’s commitment to stick with it and engage the whole organisation behind this will determine success or failure. Many companies stick to the classic Google Objectives and Key Results (OKR) techniques but other more simplified Goal Setting philosophies can work as well or better. For our introductory half day seminar we charge £250 per delegate plus expenses. For our OKR coaching support packages, we will agree the full program with you in advance and set a package price which may range from £5,000 to £30,000 depending on how large your organisation is and how much support you want.
